This multifunctional shell chair is available in two product variants, Social® Tilt and Social® Turn, each with its own characteristics and use cases.
Social® is designed for constantly changing dining spaces, where needs and uses change throughout the day. The two product variants, Tilt and Turn, encourage movement in different ways. With its curved base, Social® Tilt allows you to gently lean forward for more concentration and lean back when you want to relax or reflect. Social® Turn has a swivel base that allows you to move intuitively and interact more comfortably.
MATERIAL:
Unlike other moulded shell chairs, which typically sit on a wooden or metal base, the base of Social® is fully moulded. Each moulded part contains between 55% and 75% recycled polypropylene (PP). Recycled PP comes mainly from European household waste, discarded film and other plastic materials. The moulding process works by mixing recycled PP and glass fibre in a large injection moulding machine that creates the mould under high pressure. A special gas blowing technology creates a hollow core in the mould, significantly reducing material usage while maintaining strength and durability.
Social® is lightweight and easy to move, thanks to its hollow but robust base. For added durability, both the shell and base are reinforced with fibreglass. The velvety texture of the shell prevents slipping when sitting and makes it easy to grip the chair when you want to move it.

This warranty is limited and covers manufacturing defects only, not including misuse, normal wear and tear and defects caused by exposure to sunlight. Wrinkling due to the natural properties of the leather/fabric is a natural process and does not constitute grounds for a claim.
With this extended warranty:
All wooden components of the VARIER product are guaranteed for 7 years from the date of purchase.
All metal components of the VARIER product and the fillings (not the fabrics) are guaranteed for 5 years from the date of purchase.
The warranty covers all necessary spare parts. Labour and transport costs are excluded.
